So since Valentine's Day is over, I already began decorating for Easter. However, since starting to collect Rae Dunn, my friend, mother, and I have come across some ADORABLE St Patrick's Day pieces! So naturally I decided to make a display. Since I only have a few pieces, and it will only be up less than a month, I decided to just decorate my small entryway table.
One of my favorite patterns is buffalo check. It is the trade mark of farmhouse décor. I used my table runner in that pattern for the base of the table, and if you're interested in the same one I got mine from Amazon for only eight dollars and odd change! They have a ton of colors to choose from too! Afterwards I add a small tiered tray from Target Bullseye Playground, and then I added a few pieces I picked up from Dollar Tree. Along with my DIY shamrock felt garland and my Rae Dunn pieces I was all finished!
Another thing I wanted to mention was the sign I made for this display. All I did was take a Dollar Tree sign and flip it over and paint it white. I then went online and printed off an image of the famous farmhouse truck. I cut it out and traced the shape then drew in the details. If you don't want to drew in the details you can trace it with transfer paper. Anyways, after that I added some shamrock stickers and letter stickers and came up with a phrase for it. I decided to use "loads of luck" since it was a pickup truck!
So if anyone reading knows my husband he does not have a filter when it comes to my crafts. Sometimes he just says what he thinks, sometimes its a good thing, but most of the time it results in a giant eye roll from myself! So of course I show him my sign and he goes "Why is the Shenigan's Farm so far over?". Insert giant eye roll. So since this conversation I have added another shamrock to the sign as you will see in the photo below!
So there you have it guys! It is very simple but cute! A couple blog posts ago I made the shamrock garland, and I purchased the scattered shamrocks and the green sign from Dollar Tree! I also added potted greenery! I still think it needs some fake coins or a pop of gold color but so far I am pleased with it! Thanks for reading :)
