I am newly married, and one of my passions is to maintain a clean home as well as an organized one! Other than maintaining the home, I work as a nursing assistant at my local hospital. So one of the challenges I face is the balance between my tasks at work and at home. One of my main goals this year is to tackle all the areas of my home. I know, it does sound challenging, but with a budget and The Dollar Tree, anything is possible!
Diy Crafts & Projects
So as long as I can remember I've always been crafty. I really enjoy making my own decor, whether it be everyday or holiday. On this blog I will show step by step instructions on the crafts I make, and better yet they are all budget friendly. I absolutely despise paying over retail for something I know I am more than capable of making myself. Most of the items I make are things that require only a few products that need bought, but a good majority of the time you already have the materials you need around your home! Personally, some of my favorite projects are holiday related! I cannot wait to share my creations!
Decorating & Home
Along with making crafts, my all time favorite thing to do is to decorate my home. I'd like to think my style is farmhouse, but I do love some industrial and modern touches. So my style is all over the place. I cannot wait to share the spots in my house I dress up for the holidays. Another hobby of mine is to collect a pottery known as Rae Dunn. For those of you who are not familiar with her pottery, you will see it all over my home! In my opinion it pairs so well with my style!
